Hi BHPC riders,

I have attached the July 2023 newsletter to keep you informed about Pony Club activities. There is information about our June and July musters, and upcoming BHPC and Zone 1 events. I welcome your photos and stories of your equestrian activities throughout the year to include in the newsletter. I hope you are all excited about riding at our July muster on Sunday 23 July!!

July Muster: Sunday 23 July – Formal winter uniform

9 am Start – 3 pm Finish (approximately) – We will start with a line-up on the Showgrounds at 9 am before breaking into groups for the different activities, including dressage and show jumping, games and horsemastership. Our usual adult rider lesson before the muster will start at 8 am in the long yard.

All riders, please let Sandy know if you are coming or not coming to the muster ASAP or at the latest by 5 pm Monday 17 July – email chiefinstructor@brookfieldponyclub.org.au or text 0400 952 002. This is important to allow rider groups and instructors to be organised. A timetable and Jotform for pre-ordering of food for lunch will also be provided next week.

Rules and regulations

For the July muster, JotForm Horse Health declarations will no longer be available. Please fill out your paper Horse Health declaration on the day to confirm your horse’s health and hand it in at the muster. There will be spare forms at the main oval gate. This is essential for biosecurity reasons. Hendra Virus vaccination requirements – As per our BHPC bylaws, no horse is to be brought to a BHPC muster, camp or clinic unless its current Hendra vaccination certificate showing full immunity has been provided.
