Hi BHPC members,

I have attached the July 2026 newsletter to keep you informed about Pony Club activities. The newsletter includes information about our June and July musters, upcoming activities, Committee news and horse health. I welcome your photos and stories of your equestrian activities throughout the year to include in the newsletter.

Upcoming activities include:

July Muster: Sunday 26 July – 9 am Start - 3 pm Finish (approximately) - Kindly sponsored by Blink Equine

Our Winter musters start at 9 am and riders wear the club’s formal uniform. We will start with a line-up on the Showgrounds at 9 am before breaking into groups for the different activities. We will also hold our usual adult rider lesson at 8 am in the long yard. Our July muster is a normal teaching muster, with guest polework coach Trish Braithwaite, as well as dressage and show jumping lessons to prepare our riders for the BHPC Combined Training event in August. Other activities will include different games and youth handler.

** Please let me know if you are coming or not coming to the muster by Monday 20 July, email chiefinstructor@brookfieldponyclub.org.au or text 0400 952 002.

Combined Training competition – Sunday 2 August

Our BHPC Combined Training competition is coming up fast on Sunday 3 August. Combined Training involves riding a dressage test, followed by a show jumping round. Why not give the competition a go in a friendly, supportive environment at your own club.

The CT program is attached for your information. There are classes for all levels from lead-line riders to advanced riders. It would be great to have a big team of BHPC riders competing on the day. Nomination is via the nominate.com.au website. Any questions about the competition, please contact me via email chiefinstructor@brookfieldponyclub.org.au or phone 0400 952 002.

Hendra vaccination - If your horse has recently had its annual Hendra vaccination, please forward its current vaccination certificate to me.
