June 2023 Newsletter
Hi BHPC riders,
I have attached the June 2023 newsletter to keep you informed about Pony Club activities. There is information about our May and June musters, Brookfield Show, official stable block opening, and upcoming BHPC and Zone 1 events, as well as details on how riders can achieve their proficiency certificates or medallions. I welcome your photos and stories of your equestrian activities throughout the year to include in the newsletter. I hope you are all excited about riding at our June muster on Sunday 18 June!!
June Muster: Sunday 18 June – Formal winter uniform
9 am Start – 3 pm Finish (approximately) – We will start with a line-up on the Showgrounds at 9 am before breaking into groups for the different activities. Our special guest instructor, Selina, will be giving working equitation lessons on the day, a fun and challenging activity for all riders. Please check out the attached Working Equitation information from Pony Club Australia. Our usual adult rider lesson before the muster will start at 8 am in the long yard.
All riders, please let Sandy know if you are coming or not coming to the muster ASAP or at the latest by 5 pm Wednesday 14 June – email chiefinstructor@brookfieldponyclub.org.au or text 0400 952 002. This is important to allow rider groups and instructors to be organised. A timetable and Jotform for pre-ordering of food for lunch will also be provided next week.
